Legal status
What Kovion Holdings is
Kovion Holdings is a trading name. It is used by an unincorporated business that trades internationally, run by its founder, Amad Zulfiqar. In legal terms it is not a separate person from the people who run it.
Kovion Holdings is not a registered company. It is not a limited company, LLP or corporation in any country, and it has no company number. Where this website says “Kovion”, “we”, “us” or “the studio”, it means the business trading under that name.
What that means for you
- Your contract is with a person, not a company. Every proposal and agreement names the individual you are contracting with, trading as Kovion Holdings.
- Nothing starts without written terms. You will receive a written proposal and our Terms of Service before any work begins or any payment is taken.
- You can ask for our details at any time. If you are a client, supplier or anyone else we do business with, we will give you the full name of the person you are dealing with and a postal address where documents can be served. Email [email protected].
- Taxes are handled personally. Because there is no company, income from Kovion Holdings is declared by the person running it under the tax rules that apply to them.
Products and ventures
Products such as Party Room are developed by Kovion Holdings. Product names used on this website are names of projects or brands. They are not separate registered companies unless we say so explicitly.
Plans to incorporate
We intend to incorporate as a private limited company in England and Wales. Until that happens, nothing on this site should be read as a claim that Kovion Holdings is a company, and no company number exists.
When we incorporate, we will update this page with the company name, number and registered office. We will also write to existing clients to explain whether and how any ongoing agreement will move to the new company. We will never move your agreement to another party without telling you first.
Where we work
We work remotely with clients in different countries. Unless your written agreement says otherwise, our agreements and this website are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Your local consumer rights still apply where the law says they must.
